Literacy Day

Mark your calendars for Saturday, January 25th, because Literacy Day is almost here! This year’s theme, “Learn to Be Green, Together,” combines the joy of learning with caring for our planet. Literacy Day is all about celebrating the power of knowledge and how it can inspire us to make a difference in our communities.

Join us for a day full of fun activities for all ages, including:

• 10:30 – 11:30: Pre-school Story Time/Crafts and Songs
• 11:00 – 12:00: Upcycling Crafts & Planting a Seed (Grade 1-6)
• 1:00 – 2:00: Tween Craft No-Sew T-Shirts
• 2:30 – 3:30: Adult Spelling Bee

These activities will also be happening throughout the day:

• Button Machine
• Scavenger Hunt
• Story Walk
• Book Face (What is Book Face?)
• Prizes & Food

A special thanks to CBAL and its members for their collaboration with the library, making events like this possible.
