Mark your calendars for Saturday, January 25th, because Literacy Day is almost here! This year’s theme, “Learn to Be Green, Together,” combines the joy of learning with caring for our planet. Literacy Day is all about celebrating the power of knowledge and how it can inspire us to make a difference in our communities.
Did you know that literacy isn’t just about reading and writing? It’s also about understanding the world around us and sharing that knowledge with others. By focusing on sustainable living this year, we’re exploring how learning together can help create a greener, more connected future.
Join us for a day full of fun activities for all ages, including trivia challenges, a spelling bee, upcycling crafts, and other family-friendly events. There will be prizes and lots of opportunities to connect with others in our community!
Want to learn more? Keep an eye on our social media for updates or stop by the library to ask one of our friendly staff members. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
